Mooring Bollards

DockGuard have recently completed the manufacture and supply of Mooring Bollards to various projects around the world. Our range includes all varieties from the T-Head or R-Type to the Twin Horn or Staghorn type. We supply bollards from 5T to 300T capacity fully tested and certified to international standards. High tensile galvanised or stainless steel holding down and break off bolts are available ex-stock for immediate delivery to site.

UHMW-PE Fenders - Ventspils Bridge
DockGuard were sucessful is supplying to the building contractor over 510 pieces of UHMW-PE low friction wear pads in varying sizes and lengths making a combined weight of over 45 Tonnes. Despite the intricicy of the order, DockGuard delivered all pieces of the UHMW-PE system correctly drilled, chamfered and on time to complete the project.

Stormont Wharf Fender Replacement - Belfast
DockGuard have successfully supplied the Civil Engineering contractor with 46 sets of DGL550 V-Fender systems for Stormont Wharf. The V-Fenders consist of a pair of DGL550x1500 Leg Fenders faced with 1000 Grade UHMW-PE and feature a steel and PE lead-in support bracket on top to assist with belted vessels.

ISO17357 Pneumatic Fenders – 3300mm x 10600mm CTN
DockGuard have just completed the supply to France of one of the largest Pneumatic Fenders in our range. The ISO17357:2002 certified fender has a body diameter of 3300mm and a length of 10600mm on top of that there is the high protection chain and tire netting. The fenders are supplied with shackle and swivel connections at each end and are fitted with specialised inflation and safety valves set-up and tested to provide long service life with minimal maintenance.

Kennacraig Harbour - Scotland
DockGuard's V-Fenders are fitted to the new ferry terminal at Kennacraig Harbour in Scotland. The V-Fenders, that consist of DGL800 Leg Fenders and yellow faced UHMW-PE shields, have just been installed at one end of the ferry route and similar fenders are currently being supplied for installation at the opposite end of the route in Port Ellen, Isle of Islay.

ISO17357 Pneumatic Fenders – Genoa Port
DockGuard have supplied the Port of Genoa in Italy with 15 sets of Ø1.5m x 3.0m Pneumatic Rubber Fenders each supplied with fabricated steel quay wall brackets and galvanised mooring chain assemblies. The fenders have an internal working pressure of 0.5kgf/cm² and are manufactured and tested in accordance with the internationally recognised standard for Pneumatic Fenders ISO17357:2002.

Smith Embankment – Peterhead Port
DockGuard have recently supplied the fender systems to the high profile Smith Embankment project at Peterhead Port in Scotland. DockGuard won the contract to supply the fenders by showing experience in design and manufacture of strong and robust fender systems such as these.

Protection of the Quay is provided by 12 fender systems utilising a DockGuard DCN1400 Cone Fender mounted behind a closed box construction steel frontal panel that is faced with UHMW-PE low friction facing pads.
